Business Development Strategist
Business Development Strategist to lead and support a variety of business development and marketing engagements – from market research to strategic planning, pursuit strategy to message development. This person will leverage industry knowledge and past experiences to provide design and construction clients with creative solutions founded on industry best practices.
While all of Dragonfly’s projects are approached with a team mentality, the Business Development Strategist is a leadership position and expected to manage client engagements, secure new project opportunities, and contribute to the firm’s thought leadership. Responsibilities include market research, data analysis, developing strategies, capture planning, and business development/marketing process development.
WHAT
A proven business development leader in the AEC industry. Individual must be a fun, team-playing professional who believes in the impact that strategic business development and marketing can have on design and construction firms. While this person will add to the team with their own experiences and expertise, they understand the value of an ‘all-hands small business culture’ and are willing to do what it takes to exceed client expectations. Ideally located on the East Coast (but not required), they should enjoy travel (that is required).
Bonus Points for: CM/GC experience, In-Design knowledge, likes red wine, patience, a great sense of humor, 10+ years industry experience
WHO
Dragonfly AEC Consulting exists to provide clients with business development and marketing leadership through a wide range of services. No two client engagements are the same, and we continue to add value by broadening the experience and expertise we’re able to offer. Working with awesome clients, we’re experiencing growth – specifically in Strategic Planning and Business Development services – and need another leader to add to our team.
WHY
Research Contractor
Research Contractor needed to assist the Dragonfly team in data collection and organization on an hourly, as-needed basis. This position is a 1099 contractor and not an employee of the firm. Responsibilities include conducting secondary research through review of master plans, capital plans, publications, articles, and websites.
WHAT
A detail-oriented individual who enjoys going down rabbit holes and believes that doing something halfway is as good as not doing it at all. This person should have some AEC industry experience and an understanding that workload and deadlines will fluctuate based on client/project needs.
WHO
Dragonfly AEC Consulting provides design and construction clients with business development and marketing leadership through a wide range of services. Many of our projects require extensive research – everything from understanding industry trends to identifying specific client information – and extra bandwidth is needed at times for the collection and organization of data.
