AEC Marketing Specialist wanted. Apply by September 25.

Room for one more. We’re looking for an AEC marketing specialist with 3-5 years of industry experience to support our internal marketing and client deliverables.

AEC Marketing Specialist ad for Dragonfly AEC Consulting

This role requires sharp graphic design skills and instincts—someone who knows how to work within a brand, looks for opportunities to elevate, and balances efficiency with high-end polish. The right candidate will understand the design and construction industry and the fast-paced nature of marketing and business development, bringing context, judgment, and focus to their work from day one.

We are a 100% remote team. Occasional travel will be required, as we believe there is no replacement for in-person team building. You can expect to work hard and laugh often, for every week to look different, and to have real autonomy over your work while taking ownership of your professional growth. Bring your big ambitions. We’ll give you the trust, guidance, and opportunity to pursue them.

Core Responsibilities

  • Project Deliverable Production (~50%): Translate complex data, workshop outputs, and strategic ideas into clean, compelling reports, visual roadmaps, and client-facing documents.

  • Internal Marketing Execution (~25%): Lead the production and implementation of Dragonfly’s social media, marketing materials, and website updates.

  • Client Proposal & Pursuit Support (~25%): Work with client leadership and marketing teams on proposal layouts, shortlist interview decks, infographics, and visual collateral that strengthen client pursuits.

How We Work + Get Paid

Our workload and compensation reflect a modern consulting approach. Team members are fully empowered to set their own schedules, workload, and appetite for project work. Because of this autonomy, team members are compensated on a generous hourly basis rather than through traditional salaried packages. You make great money when you’re working, and you have the freedom to step away and manage your personal time on your own terms.

We want everyone rowing in the same direction, so team members also participate in annual profit sharing and receive automatic retirement savings contributions. At the end of the day, our goal is for every team member to optimize their buckets—quality of life, finances, and job satisfaction—in a way that meets their individual goals.

Non-Negotiables

  • Strong graphic design skills, with proven capability in data visualization

  • 3-5 years of AEC experience

  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite

  • PowerPoint proficiency

  • Located within Eastern or Central time zones

  • Highly collaborative and self-driven

  • Willingness to travel 4-6 times per year

  • An all-hands-on-deck mentality that comes with being part of a lean, ambitious team

Bonus Points

  • Video and photography editing experience

  • You can claim one or more of the following:

    • Ability to outdrive Alex in golf

    • Attended more concerts than Lizette

    • Spent more time underwater than Kayla

    • A jewelry collection larger than Laura’s

    • Logged more hours at the ball field than Katie

How To Apply

Please send a resume, cover letter, and a portfolio link/work samples to hr@dragonflyaec.com. Let us know what you love to do, what you're looking for in your next role, and why you'd make a great addition to Team Dragonfly.

Our industry loves a deadline, and so do we. Please submit your interest and qualifications by September 25.

What to Expect

Cultural fit is as important to us as credentials, so we intend to take our time finding our next team member. However, we are motivated to fill this position and hope to have someone on board in November. The successful candidate should expect to participate in the following:

  • An introductory meeting

  • A full-team interview

  • Reference checks

  • A graphic design exercise

  • Final 1:1

And because culture fit goes both ways, you should know there will be cursing. A lot. Must be 18 or older to apply.
